OUR STORY

From Kathmandu to your table

Our family kitchen began in the Kathmandu valley, where mornings smelled of ginger, timur pepper and freshly steamed momos. When we settled in Luxembourg, we brought those recipes with us β€” and a simple belief that good food is hospitality you can taste.

Today we cook the dishes we grew up on: dumplings folded by hand each morning, broths simmered slow, and grills smoked over charcoal.

My wife and I loved discovering Nepalese food thanks to this restaurant. We were warmly welcomed with a big smile by the owner, who explained the buffet dishes and their ingredients. The coconut sauce was superb, the mint sauce refreshing, and I loved the fried onion with egg, the breaded chicken and the vegetables. The Nepalese beer surprised me positively. I recommend you stop by when you visit Luxembourg.

A lovely find in Luxembourg. Delicious Nepalese food, but the welcoming, friendly service really made it. Our kids were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed trying Nepali food, eating more momos than I thought possible.

Very warm welcome by the owners, with a menu that is not just your ordinary list but a very eclectic choice. We had delicious kebab and salad starters and then the traditional Nepalese platter and salmon tandoori, both beautifully served. Service was prompt and competent. We will be back for more very soon!

Food was very good, the service was very friendly, we had a really very good meal together. Since we unfortunately do not live here we will very likely not be able to come again, but we would love to eat here again. Thank you very much, that was a very good meal.
